Caring for your jewellery
How do I keep my jewellery looking new?
Three simple habits: store it dry and separately, wipe it after wear with a soft polishing cloth, and put it on last (after perfume, lotion and makeup) and take it off first before water or sleep.
Can I wear it in water — shower, pool or sea?
We recommend removing your jewellery before showering, swimming or going to the beach. Water, chlorine and salt speed up tarnishing and can dull the rhodium finish over time.
Do perfume, lotion and makeup affect it?
Yes. Spray perfume and apply lotion or makeup before putting your jewellery on, and let them dry. Cosmetic chemicals are a leading cause of dullness and tarnish.
How should I store my jewellery?
Store each piece separately in a dry place — ideally its original pouch or box — to prevent scratches and slow tarnishing. Avoid humid spots such as bathrooms.
How do I clean it?
Gently buff with a soft, dry jewellery polishing cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cloths and ultrasonic cleaners, which can damage the plating and stones.
What does the warranty cover?
You have the 2 year legal guarantee of conformity from delivery: if a piece does not conform we repair or replace it free of charge, and where that is not possible you get a price reduction or a refund. For the first 12 months you do not have to prove the fault existed at delivery.
On top of that, our 1 year repair warranty covers manufacturing defects. It is in addition to your legal rights and does not limit them.
You also have 14 days to cancel without giving a reason. Just email hello@duavaa.com.
