Refund policy
All Duavaa jewellery is handcrafted by skilled artisans in India. Due to the handmade nature of our products and the use of natural stones and pearls, slight variations in colour, shape, texture, and finish may occur. These variations are inherent to handcrafted jewellery and make each piece unique.
Every Duavaa product undergoes strict quality checks before dispatch to ensure it meets our quality standards.
Returns & Exchanges – General Terms

Return requests must be raised within 48 hours of delivery.

Exchange requests may be raised within 14 days of delivery.

All requests must be emailed to hello@duavaa.com with clear photographs of the product and packaging.

Any return or exchange will be processed only after the product is received back at our warehouse and passes our quality inspection.

Returned items must be unused, unworn, in original condition, with original packaging, tags, and invoices intact.

Products showing signs of wear, damage, alteration, or use will not be accepted and will be sent back to the customer.
Refund Method

Cash refunds are not offered.

Approved returns will be issued store credit only, valid for use on duavaa.com.

Store credit will be issued after the returned item passes quality inspection at our warehouse.
International Orders

Returns or exchanges for internationally shipped orders are handled on a case-by-case basis and require prior approval.

In exceptional cases, Duavaa may provide a local return address to facilitate the return.

If a return is approved, the item must still meet all return eligibility conditions.

Shipping costs, customs duties, and taxes (if any) incurred during returns are the responsibility of the customer unless explicitly agreed otherwise.
Non-Returnable & Non-Refundable Cases
Returns, exchanges, or store credit will not be issued in the following situations:

Minor variations in colour, stone texture, size, or design due to handcrafted production.

Natural variations in stones and pearls.

Incorrect or incomplete delivery address provided by the customer.

PO Box addresses or incorrect address formats.

Failed delivery attempts or refusal to accept delivery.

Items damaged due to customer handling, wear, or misuse.

Earrings with bent stems — earring posts are intentionally made with softer metal for flexibility and are not considered defective.

Sizing issues. Customers are advised to review size details carefully before purchasing.

Items that are not faulty or damaged.

Pre-order items, which are made specifically for the customer.

Custom-made or personalised products.
Custom Orders

Custom orders are strictly non-returnable, non-refundable, and non-exchangeable.

These items are produced based on customer-specific requirements and approvals.

Any modifications requested after completion will incur additional charges.

In rare cases, if a cancellation is requested before dispatch and approved at Duavaa’s discretion, a 60% cancellation fee will apply to cover materials, labour, and production time already invested.
Shipping Costs

Shipping charges are non-refundable.

If a return is approved, actual shipping costs incurred by Duavaa (including free or discounted shipping) may be deducted from the store credit issued.

Duavaa is not responsible for items lost or damaged during the return transit.
Final Notes

All returns must be pre-approved. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.
